I HAVE A BROKEN MIRROR AT HOME

If you have a broken mirror at home and aren’t sure what to do with it, or if you’re planning to throw it away, we would be happy to collect it from you. (as long as you’re within the Lisbon area) We will reuse it and transform it into a beautiful piece of artwork, full of history, meaning, and purpose. By giving the mirror a second life, it will not only reduce waste but also contribute to the creation of something unique and meaningful, preserving the story behind its original form.

ARE THE WORKS ORIGINAL BY OSIR?

Yes, all the works are done by OSIR. The main material used are of high quality such as canvases, acrylics, oils or spray paint.

WHAT MATERIALS ARE USED IN THE ARTWORKS?

The main material used is mirror collected from urban and industrial waste containers. The remaining materials are high-quality materials such as acrylic paint, epoxy resin, wood, and stainless steel.

RESERVE ARTWORKS PAYING UPFRONT

Sorry, but we can’t hold a Print or Painting  for you and/or you can’t prepay for an artwork neither.
As many people ask for this ‘favor’, it will be technically too confusing and complicated to keep up with this.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE ARTWORK

As the artwork is made from a fragile material, special care is required both during handling and maintenance. While each fragment has its edges polished to minimize any risk of injury, careful attention should be given during both handling and maintenance. To preserve the work in the best possible condition, maintenance (cleaning) should only be carried out using a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid using any cleaning products, abrasive materials, or excessive pressure during cleaning to prevent damage.

SPECIAL CARE

As the artwork is made from a delicate material, it is important to handle it with extra caution. In addition to polishing the edges of each fragment to minimize any risk of injury, the following precautions should be observed:

  1. Handling: Always handle the artwork with clean hands or wear gloves to avoid transferring oils or dirt from your fingers. Ensure that the piece is held securely and carefully to prevent accidental drops or damage.
  2. Cleaning: Only clean the artwork using a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid the use of cleaning products, abrasive materials, or any type of wet cloth that could damage the surface or material.
  3. Storage and Display: Keep the artwork in a stable environment, avoiding direct sunlight, excessive heat, humidity, or cold. It should be placed in a location that is not subject to frequent movement or vibration.
  4. Transportation: When moving the artwork, use appropriate protective packaging such as padded materials or custom-made cases to safeguard it from damage during transit.

By following these guidelines, the longevity and integrity of the artwork can be preserved.

All payments are taken in EUR (€), ___________________________ are the available methods and will be charged at the current exchange rate. To view current exchange rates please contact your bank. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

SHIPPING

All orders will be processed in 5 to 10 working days. We give our best to pack your order as soon as possible. Most of orders will arrive within 10 business days, counting from the date when the order is dispatched (not from the time when you placed the order). We advice you to wait up to 30 days for delivery. You will receive a notification when your order is complete. Sometimes it might not be possible to pack and send them right away. We ask for your understanding. Delivery of completed orders will be made on our carefully selected courier companies or any other delivery services at the discretion of OSIR STUDIO.

DELIVERIES

As they officially have to deliver the package to you personally, if you miss the delivery and they leave a note on your door for another attempt,  you need to contact the courier to see with them, as is difficult for us to contact them (especially if you’re in another country).

I DIDN’T RECEIVE MY ORDER YET

First of all, please allow at least 2 weeks if you’re in Europe to receive your order. If you are outside of Europe some orders are being delivered after 30 days due to the global pandemic.

You didn’t receive your package? Please contact us first.
If after a month, you still didn’t receive the package, then, we will open a case with the courier so they can try to locate the package.
